Q. What is a Safe Deposit Box?
A. A safe deposit box is a locked metal box that you rent from, and store within the vault, at a bank or other financial institution. Your monthly rent is based on the size of the box.
Q. What can I store in a Safe Deposit Box?
A. Safe deposit boxes are a great place to store important documents such as a will or savings bonds, as well as other smaller valuables including jewelry.
Q. Are Safe Deposit Boxes insured by the FDIC and DIF?
A. No. Safe deposit boxes are not insured.
Q. What offices have Safe Deposit Boxes?
A. All our offices have safe deposit boxes.
Q. How do I open a Safe Deposit Box?
A. Visit any full service office to see availability and to open your safe deposit box. (Note, our High School Branch does not offer safe deposit boxes).
Q. When can I access my Safe Deposit Box?
A. You may access your safe deposit box during regular business hours.
