Small Business Association (SBA) Programs

Please visit the Small Business Administration (SBA) website for all questions concerning SBA Loans and Programs, including those related to COVID-19.

Two programs you may be considering include the SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) or the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP). Although small-business borrowers can apply for both, you can only take advantage of one of these programs as they are limited to one per Taxpayer Identification Number.

The SBA Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) Application Process

  • Apply online directly to the SBA for EIDL at
  • EIDL loans are funded directly from the US Treasury.
  • Call (800) 659-2955 or email for additional information
  • The application process also now includes loan advances up to $10,000 that might be forgiven (EIDL Advance)

The SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)
Charles River Bank is not accepting any new applications for the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
