Charles River Bank recently held its annual dinner meeting at Lake Pearl Function Facility in Wrentham, MA. Chairman of the Board Robert J. Parrella welcomed Charles River Bank staff, directors, honorary directors and invited guests. During the meeting, President & CEO Jack Hamilton announced that he was celebrating his 40th year in the banking industry as well as his 15th year with Charles River Bank. Over the course of the meeting, Jack went into detail about the successes of the bank over the past year as well as some challenges that the bank has effectively overcome. One of the more exciting updates was that the mortgage department originated more than $33 million in loans this year and the commercial loan department originated more than $15.4 million in loans. President Hamilton also announced that the bank’s asset value has increased this year to over $230 million.
Chairman Parrella later joined President Hamilton to commend the achievements of staff at Charles River Bank. They presented 5-year Service Awards to Assistant Vice President of Administration Charlene Hebert and Assistant Vice President & Controller Lisa Forman. The 10-year Service Award recipient was Assistant Vice President & Bellingham Branch Officer Michael Tuite. The recipients of the 15-year Service Award were Senior Vice President of IT & Compliance Sue Rovedo and President & CEO Jack Hamilton. For the first time in the history of Charles River Bank, a 25-year Service Award was presented to Deposit Operations Support Specialist Laurie O’Rourke.
Two team members, Vice President & Commercial Lending Officer Peter Rizzo and Bellingham Assistant Branch Manager Tara Crivello, earned the honor of being named recipients of the President’s Award.
“I am extremely pleased with Charles River Bank’s performance in the past year. With the unwavering support of our employees and directors, this has been one of our best years yet. Our Annual Dinner is a great way to recognize the triumphs of our company and recognize those who contribute to our success,” stated Hamilton.
